Every Tuesday our run group meets outside of Casita Azul at 5:30pm.
And an additional Zumba class with Carmen Duran on Mondays at 7:00pm, in addition to her Saturday class at 10:00am!

The spring melt off and snow storms bring much needed water our way this time of year, and it's cool enough to chill our chela! This Earth Day we were stoked to donate 10% of the day’s sales to our amigos at NRDC, a global nonprofit comprised of scientists, policy experts, lawyers and volunteers who’ve been advocating for the environment, climate awareness and clean energy for over 50 years. In addition to our Earth Day donations to NRDC, we’re also looking forward to writing a big check to the Equal Justice Initiative, which is the non-profit to which we’re donating 100% of the proceeds from the sale of our version of Black is Beautiful imperial Stout. To make this happen, we need to sell the remaining couple of cases of 22 oz. bottles of Black Is Beautiful that remain. When refrigerated, this bottled beer will maintain its integrity for up to six months, and it makes a great gift also. Read more about the Black is Beautiful movement here.
You may have noticed the tent covering our patio space is gone. We’re working hard to begin construction on what will be a permanent patio structure outside of Casita Azul, our beer shed, so please be patient as we submit drawings for approval and work begins. In the meantime, we’ll hang a shade sail as a temporary measure, and possibly add a few umbrellas (although the sometimes high winds we experience can make those a dangerous proposition).

Yoga on the Patio! - April 11th
We welcome our buen amiga and local yoga teacher Lora McKelvey on Sunday, April 11th, for a 60 minute all-levels Vinyasa yoga class set to the beautiful live music of Waves & Particles. The cost is just $10 per person, and all participants will enjoy half priced pints of delicious Cheluna beer afterward. Please bring your own yoga mat, yoga blocks if you use them, your own reusable water bottle, and sunscreen. Cheluna and Runners Roost Event! - April 5th
Join us Monday, April 5th, at 5:45pm as we welcome our amigos from Runner’s Roost Central Park for their April Run Club kickoff event, including an ASICS running shoe demo, followed by a casual 3 mile run to and from Cheluna and half-priced pints and raffle items for all participants! Lots of coming events in the Colorado craft beer world…!
On Wednesday, April 7th, we celebrate Colorado Pint Day, when you can purchase limited edition glassware designed by the very same Nowhereland Supply (Brooks Engel) artist who designed our latest t-shirts and hoodies! This yearly event directly benefits the Colorado Brewers Guild, the nonprofit trade association whose mission is to protect, propel, and promote independent breweries and Colorado craft beer. On Saturday, April 10th, we welcome our friends from the Colorado Brewery Running Series to the fields at Stanley for their season kick-off, cleverly called ‘6 Feet Apart-Y’. Live music, Cheluna beer, raffle prizes, sponsors, and a 1 mile fun run around the track are all included in this socially distanced, family friendly and super fun event. Tickets are just $10, and can be purchased here.
We’ll be serving our beer at the 2021 Vail Craft Beer Classic again this summer, June 25-26, but if you’re interested please purchase your tickets now as space is limited (socially distanced event with timed small group entry) and some sessions have already sold out! We had a such a good time at this beautiful event last year we decided to head up to the montañas for it again this summer. Tickets are available here.
With warmer weather here we will be saying ‘hasta pronto’ to many of our darker beers, and we’ve added another beer option to our Casita Azul patio, for a total of six delicious and crushable chelas on tap outside for the patio days ahead. Grab a pint of El Flaco Stout soon, and bombers of Black is Beautiful to-go, because those beers are just about gone! We’ll be writing a check to The Equal Justice Initiative with proceeds from our version of Black is Beautiful, which we brewed in conjunction with our amigos at Weathered Souls Brewing, as soon as the last bottle sells. Tuesday Cheluna ¡Corre! Run Group meets up at 5:30 on the West Stanley patio near Casita Azul. All abilities are welcome, and participants enjoy half priced pints afterward!
Saturday Latin Dance with Carmen Duran takes place on the West Stanley patio behind Sweet Cow, from 10:00-11:00am. Join us for this fun, family friendly high energy dance class for just $6 per person, payable to Carmen via Zelle or Venmo, either per class or on a monthly basis. All participants enjoy half priced pints afterward!
Cheluna ¡Corre! Run Group will resume meeting every Tuesday at 5:30, starting March 16! We’ll have an extra hour of daylight by then, giving us plenty of daylight. As always, runners and walkers enjoy half-priced pints afterward!
And Carmen Duran hosts a high-energy Latin Dance class every Saturday (with awesome DJ Andy Gonzalez!) from 10:00-11:00AM. Dancers enjoy half-price pints afterward (like runners on Tuesdays!). The cost is just $6 for the hour, payable to Carmen directly, and weather permitting is held on the West Stanley patio behind Sweet Cow. Join us!

Karaoke fans, mark you calendars for Friday, April 2nd, when Andy Gonzalez (lead singer of Roka Hueka) will host karaoke on our mezzanine from 7:00-9:00PM. Andy will post lyrics on the TV screen upstairs, and singers will perform behind a plexiglass partition and apart from guests.
We were able to release both Alegría German Ale and our Xoco Fresa Ale just before those below zero degree nights which caused our boiler to go out, delaying our brewing schedule by a couple of weeks. Eric says you’ll see him aggressively brewing to catch up with the tight schedule he maintains to keep your favorites and new releases perfectly timed!

This year we’re releasing a special Valentine’s Day beer, our delicious Kölsch with chocolate and strawberry, which we’re calling Xoco Fresa Kölsch. Available Friday, February 12, we’ll also be selling a special collaboration sweet we’ve concocted with the help of our buen amigo Gonzo, co-owner (with David Lewis) of our Stanley Marketplace neighbor Miette et Chocolat. Imagine our savory, tangy and slightly spicy peanuts covered in chocolate with a light dusting of cocoa powder . . . that’s what we imagined and then Gonzo made a sample batch, which was even better than we imagined!
